Santa Fe Railyard Opens

Posted on September 13, 2008 at 9:40 AM
Local luminary Marco Gonzales was on KSWV Wednesday morning, talking about the Santa fe Railyard complex, a project that took 15 years to come to fruition. It is mostly natives like himself who established this family-friendly new attraction in downtown Santa Fe, blocks away from the troubled Plaza. Of note is the new REI store, a mountain-climbing outift based in Seattle, Washington. There is also a restaurant called...

Site Santa Fe Obscenely Wasteful

Posted on September 10, 2008 at 4:09 PM

Site Santa Fe, across from the new Railyard complex of family-friendly business and farmers' market on Paseo de Peralta, has a gigantic sign on its roof, lit up extremely brightly at night, saying "XXX". It is a piece called "Tri-Christus". This is an outright assault on our Santa Fe local culture. The City of Santa Fe has one preservation code for poor business owners, homeowners and Span...

Democrats Use Felons to Register Voters

Posted on September 10, 2008 at 4:06 PM
Well, maybe not this year, but in the last election, a company called Acorn was here in Santa Fe registering voters on behalf of the Democrat party. They employed both a convicted child-molestation felon and an identity-theft perpetrator. Want to give your persona linformation to those people?

Idiots Tear Down Historic Indian School!

Posted on August 7, 2008 at 9:13 AM
This is an outrage. Since when is it OK to demolish a series of beautiful, real adobe buildings that were impeccably built? The sign says "Coming soon: Wellness Center". And think of the traffic that a huge new complex for out- of-towners will bring! Seeing the demolition is one of the most disturbing experiences ever. Those historic buildings, bricks, and other material that no one can afford anymore are all lying... Read Full Post »

Art Santa Fe Opening Night Gala: Video
Amazing how many of those artists are doing the same thing! Stripes are everywhere, done to death. And gee, aren't those blank canvases a work of art? What is their message? I think I know what it is: "If I tried to paint, I couldn't."

Art of Santa Fe

Real art, not the con-temporary con-artistry that Site Santa Fe and other entities here show, the bad crafts copycats who make a mockery of art. You won't see pieces of William Morris wrapping paper defiled with spray paint, shredded scrapbooks, squares of painted metal, puddles of water, or blank fields of c...
