Maria J. says:

12 people who ate at Diego's Cafe in De Vargas Mall contracted salmonella food poisoning between the last week of July and the first week of August. They range in age from 60 years old to one month old. The infant caught salmonella by feeding at his mother's breast, who had eaten at Diego's.  This is pretty serious, but all victims are recovering.

Site Santa Fe, a gallery on Paseo de Peralta, has a gigantic sign on its roof, lit up extremely brightly at night, saying "XXX". It is a piece called "Tri-Christus", and the Archdiocese of Santa Fe ought to be calling them on it soon. The City of Santa Fe has apparently got one preservation code for poor inhabitants and natives, and a different code for entities that blaspheme and tear down local cultural tradition. When little children see the vile sign blaring from the roof of Site Santa Fe, and ask what it is, parents can now say, "XXX--that's the size of Santa Fe's carbon foot print!"

A fake "church" of two members applied to the City of Santa Fe for a permit to protest during Indian Market Weekend. Their "protest" involves the right of women to go bare-chested in public, so that is just what their demonstrators will be doing--bringing a strip club style show to the downtown areas where tourists and local families will be attempting to peruse the native American culture. The Santa Fe City Attorney, a Mr. Katz (transplanted from elsewhere you can bet), gave the fake church permission, to the consternation of Santa Fe's native population. The City of Holy Faith is crying out to save its native culture. City Hall is deaf and dumb.
